Doubleheader Sweep for Jason!

Ottawa Goodtime Centres very own Jason Thoms headed down Bowmanville this past weekend, home of the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park to compete in both of the Magneti Marelli Amateur Superbike Races. Starting the race in 4th, his first race of the weekend would end up being a close one! Jason narrowly edged out Mike van Ek by half a second to take the trophy!

His second race of the weekend turned out a little different than the first race. Starting the race in 2nd it didn’t take him long to get out ahead of the rest and establish quite the gap. When all was said and done he finished the race almost 9 seconds ahead of second place Jean-Francois Aubin to complete the doubleheader.

We want to congratulate Jason on an excellent weekend of racing! We’re so happy and proud he was able to bring not one but two 1st place trophy’s back to the Goodtime Centre!
